PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
- Designed for convenience, it features a built-in carabiner hole and bottle opener, and weighs just 21g — making it one of the most lightweight folding knives in its class.
- The serrated blade is crafted from surgical-quality SUS 420 stainless steel — perfect for land-based use, though not recommended for prolonged saltwater exposure.
- For use in diving or marine environments, AQUATEC also offers other knife models made from titanium or marine-grade stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Please refer to the Related Products section below to explore our range of dive knives options.
- ⚠️ Important Notice: While SUS 420 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance in daily use, it is not suitable for prolonged saltwater exposure. Many users mistakenly use it in marine environments, which may cause corrosion. This knife is recommended for land-based use only.

🙂 What is SUS 420 stainless steel?
➜SUS 420 is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel known for its hardness, sharp edge, and moderate corrosion resistance. It’s widely used in medical tools, kitchen knives, and utility blades.
🙂Why is it not suitable for saltwater or diving use?
➜Although it’s stainless, SUS 420 is not marine-grade. Chloride ions in seawater can break down its oxide layer, leading to pitting corrosion or rust, making it unsuitable for prolonged marine exposure.
