AQUATEC (Duton Industry Co., Ltd.) is committed to producing high-quality professional diving equipment. We stand behind our products with a comprehensive warranty policy. This warranty is valid only for products purchased through authorized AQUATEC distributors.

First Stage & Second Stage Regulators Standard: 18 Months
With Online Registration: Extended to 24 Months total.
*Requires regular annual maintenance. 		O-Rings, Mouthpieces, Rubber/Silicone parts, Chrome plating issues, Corrosion, Scratches. Damage caused by failure to rinse completely with fresh water after each dive.
Buoyancy Compensator Devices (BCDs) Standard: 18 Months
With Online Registration: Extended to 24 Months total.
Limited Lifetime Warranty: Applies specifically to High-Frequency Welded Seams.
*Requires regular annual maintenance. 		O-Rings, Connector corrosion, Punctures, Cuts, Abrasion, Scratches. Damage caused by failure to rinse completely with fresh water after each dive.
Power Inflators Standard: 18 Months
With Online Registration: Extended to 24 Months total.

Instruments (Gauges, Consoles) Standard: 18 Months

Sub-Alert (Signaling Devices) Standard: 18 Months

Masks, Snorkels, Fins Standard: 18 Months

Dive Lights / Flashlights Standard (Light Body): 18 Months (Extended to 24 with registration)
Rechargeable Battery & Charger: 6 Months Warranty. 		O-Rings, Bulb/LED burnout, Flooding due to improper sealing, Battery leakage, Scratches, Impact damage. User modifications.
General Accessories Standard: 18 Months
With Online Registration: Extended to 24 Months total. 		Rubber/Silicone parts, Elastic straps, Corrosion, Scratches. Wear and tear from normal use. Damage caused by failure to rinse completely with fresh water after each dive.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Coverage Eligibility: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of AQUATEC products purchased from an authorized dealer. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational scuba diving use, provided proper care and maintenance have been performed. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.

Warranty Service: If a product is proven to be defective for any reason covered by this warranty, AQUATEC will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge (excluding shipping costs and handling fees). Warranty claims must be processed through an authorized AQUATEC dealer.

Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Loss or theft of the product.
  • Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
  • Damage resulting from lack of proper maintenance (e.g., failure to rinse with fresh water after use).
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering by non-authorized service personnel.
  • Damage from exposure to excessive temperatures, prolonged sun exposure, or inappropriate chemicals.
  • Normal wear and tear of expendable parts (O-rings, mouthpieces, hoses, batteries, etc.).
  • Products used for commercial, military, or rental purposes (unless specifically authorized in writing).

AQUATEC is not responsible for the repair or maintenance of products manufactured by other brands.

Warranty Post-Service & Out-of-Warranty

Any warranty repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period. The warranty coverage continues from the original date of purchase. For products that are out of warranty, AQUATEC continues to offer service and maintenance/repair options through our global network of dealers.
